Talking hard work paid off! fish in the boat

after 2 years building the boat she is almost 100% complete. the first time i tried to take the boat out for some fishing right before the new year was a bust, between not having a working trolling motor(not hooked up yet) to having fuel pump issues on the motor not letting me run less than 1200 rpm, i quickly gave up and returned to the dock..... well yesterday was a different story! i had 5 dozen shrimp, and was cleaned out! the redfish bite was hot! a few trout and sheepshead got in on it. successfully caught and released over 2 dozen fish!

a couple nicely timed shots from my go pro

Thumbs up Hello Out There !

How goes it, Aaron ???

on the GA. coast the Reds & Trout are moving into the sounds & up the rivers
with a few still being caught off the beach

as always the best bait is live shrimp, fished naked, weighted or under a popper
30-inch plus Bull Reds are the norm

smoker Kings are also starting to show up as are the Sharks

she's 100% finished! i have been using the living crap out of her up until new years day and love how she turned out. had a nice custom aluminum trailer made to finish it off... since these pics i have added a new Ipilot trolling motor, custom FL numbers, recessed LED navigation lights, and new hard top to replace the worn canvas. and she's currently at the canvas shop now for a custom eisenglass enclosure

went to Steinhatchee Fla. around Horseshoe for some Red & Trout with a guide
ran that skinny water and it was kinda scary not knowing if I was gonna get thrown out if we hit something

I'm very familiar with that area, my parents have a place on the Suwannee, we go scalloping every summer out of horseshoe. This boat is perfect up there.

heres a couple pics from on the Suwannee from thanksgiving, you can see the new trolling motor, nav lights, and hard top
