Okay...haveben working on the beast tis week 66 F-100 with a early model 302, got the new full cam from a fellow FTC member and ran it till this week with the stock rockers..not a good combo. Finsall y found a nice set of aluminum roller rockers, got them laud out and realized DUH...need longrt push rods. Anybod know what the actual length for roller's? Looks to be a good 1/4" short
Let me know.....

Be Careful James
actually its not a question that can be answered here or on the phone
I would suggest that you get friendly with an Auto Machine Shop
cause to get it right its gona take some 'hands on'

there is no one fits all when you do the cam change
its like adjusting 3 duces when you touch one you have to do something to the other , then the other , then back again

I know this for sure they are 5/16" Dia.
but the length can be from 6.804 thru 8.144
what year is the 302 ?
if I knew the firing order that would help as the 302 can have two differant firing orders, need Cam specs.
what type cam?
what brand are the new rockers?
what size are the rocker arm studs 3/8" or 7/16" ?
what size do the new rocker arms require ?
also I need to know about the lifters; cam lift will affect the length also

there can be so many variables James; and I hate for you to go experimenting and foul something up in the engine
one of the things that could happen is a lot of knocking and a bent push rod or a worn down cam lobe
