Default Ram 3500

I love my Fords, but I came across a deal I couldn't pass on. My old neighbor had been sitting on 96 Ram 3500 dually with the 12 valve Cummins. Only 89K miles on it. He finally decided to come off it. He put a little work into it to bring back up to good working order. Since we've known each other for so long, he sold it to me for $7k. Needs front tires and an alignment,....but other than that, it's a good running truck. Buys me a little more time on getting my 91 F-150 back together.

Very good mileage for the age. Are you planing to throw some mods in it? You can tune those Cummins engines very easy just with a help of a chip and get about +50 or 80HP when towing. This tech article pretty much covers it: Are Superchips Really Super?

i haven't really thought about doin' any engine mods yet. when i get my F-150 back on the road,...I'd like to make the dually 4 wheel drive. I've got a buddy sittin' on a set of 05 F-350 axels that are geared the same with only about 40k miles on them. I'll get a divorce transfer case and go from there. this is all later in the year. gotta get my girl back on the road first.
