Four pics I took out of our Nite Category in FTC's gallery:

All are 1992 Flareside Nite's. 1 is 4x4.

And just for giggles, a pic of the other stripe offered on the Nite:

I'll get some up, I've been busy buying stuff for it tho. I did the six litre tune, re route on the PVC.

Bought a complete exhaust, nuthin special , manifold back to split duals straight out the back.

Bought a Belltech 4" rear drop kit, working on a decent price for the 3" beam kit ( Belltech is proud of their shit )

Bought a steel roll pan from NPD

Need to get my oil pan gasket installed and by that time I should see some parts come in to get on the drop kit.

I plan on getting it re painted next summer. I'm going to work on getting a local graphics shop to repro all of my striping, I am going to add a tailgate stripe in the purple at the end of the fade, I never understood why Ford didn't ?

I will be looking thru all of the local junk yards for options I don't have, I would like cruise and all of the power goodies I am missing since mine came pretty plain.

I let it sit for a long while, only driving it once every few months, I thought about selling it and then the more I thought about buying another truck, the more I thought I should just fix up the one I fell in love with on the Chuck Callahan Ford lot back in 1992.

I remember the sales puke was pissed because I made them take off the giant, bumper sticker like, gawdy dealer name tag on the tail gate. I did leave the license plate frame on tho. The dealer closed down shortly after that. That time frame was the beginning of the decline in auto jobs here in Indy. Indy was a mecca of Ford, GM, and Chrysler manufacturing for decades prior to that.

But I digress, anyway I just want the old girl to be a little more interesting to drive. I never saw many on the street back then, and haven't seen any drivers in a long time now. I'll keep all of the stock stuff with the truck in case I ever want to go back to the original config.

If it were me, I'd keep it as close to stock as possible, they're rare enough as it is, only made 91-92 and low numbers, they'll only increase.

Some Nite's from recent Craigslist, funny how people describe their trucks; I should go back and save the pics for reference. ???

I am a pureist at heart, But every now and then I do what I like. I generally keep everything for anything I change just in case I want to go back to the original spec.
