Default Challenger SRT8 Sells for $29K. Dealer backs out, won't sell car.

This thing is getting a LOT of coverage. Spread the word. Someone bought a 2009 Challenger SRT8 for $29K when the dealer removed/forgot to put up a reserve. They are backing out saying eBay screwed up. The dealership who was selling the car has been through eBay classes on how to sell cars on there. The person, known as 'Hitman' (real name Alex) has repeatedly contacted the dealership, in person and on phone. He's dealt with the dealership in past years. Long story short, even though it says at the bottom of the ebay listing that it is a legally binding contract, the dealership still won't sell him the car. He's been there in person, with copies of everything, the money, and all needed paperwork and they still won't sell. Let's hear your thoughts on this. If you feel he should get the car then spread the word. Help him get what he legally won.

It's the dealers fault. They are legally obligated to sell the vehicle per the eBay disclaimer at the bottom.

That guy needs to contact a lawyer or at least the consumer groups.....

Nice car, you know that was the boses daughter or girlfriend who listed that.
Good luck to him but this is America, the land of broken contracts and deals.

Lawyer up and the dealship will sell him the car, they dont need the press that a law suit like this will cause.
