Default Want better mirrors

I want to know where to find a pair of mirrors that are heated and have the indicator lights, i'm not sure if i'm pre-wired for them but i would imagine the truck would be. Not looking to spend alot of money.

you could try eBay...craigslist...even your local junkyard. gonna be hard to find a good set for cheap.

also...the heated mirrors are activated by a button on the center dash...they aren't automatic so you'd need to install a switch.

I'm sure FORD would have them. Would be pricier getting them from a dealership but atleast you know that you're getting exactly what works with your truck. Plus they would be able to provide you with all the wiring and set up for the dash that you would need.

CIPA, Power Vision and the Schefenackers.
If you're not wired for them it could be a little pricey to get it done.
Just getting the aftermarket mirrors can set ya back 5 bills alone.

obviously ford would have them.....i just didn't mention since he's looking for cheaper....and we all know that ford and cheaper aren't two words often seen together

i would recommend going with ford though....you'd get exactly what you want and like andrew said...they can even provide you with the extras to make everything work right (heated mirror switch, etc..)

Im trying to find the Power fold towing mirrors. i have a 2004 lariat and the fold probably wouldnt work. But I love the look of the larger towing mirrors that come on the new f150s. If you are lucky you can find them for about 450

you're right...the power fold probably wouldn't work since there weren't tow mirrors even offered in 04...so the wiring wouldn't be there...you'd have to rig it up to make it work most likely...and IMO...that wouldn't really be worth it.

I've been thinking of getting the tow mirrors myself....found a set for cheap on ebay that i bid on...but as usual...someone jumped in right at the end of the bid...

Yeah cause I see them on trucks driving around town and I just want to exchange mine for theirs, lol. I have the power mirrors with turn signals now, just love the looks and functionality of the larger tow mirrors.

yeah...same here. my drivers side mirror also has the tinting feature that works along with the rearview mirror...i'd want to keep that...so to get the set of tow mirrors that i'd want i'd most definitely have to go to ford.

have you ever just walked up to some one and asked to trade?

I have thought about it MANY TIMES, lol. But I wish my mirror auto tinted. My rear view does it, but my driver side one does not. My dads does on his 09 Platinum and it is a really cool feature.
