Default Spin-Caps Theft Proof Valve Stem Caps

Don't know how many of you guys out there know about this product, but I have been using them for years.

I was guilty of this when I was a youngster, you see a nice set of wheels with shiny valve stem caps, you walk over, few turns later, your bike has a new set.

Well, it gets annoying when you're older and you go out to your car/truck only to see that some kid has ripped off yet again, another set of "chromies." It tends to get expensive when you are constantly buying them, and who the hell is going to put the black caps on??

I tried everything from grease to glue, to a wrench and they always manage to get them off.

I was turned onto them by the website I bought my first set of wheels from for my Fuckus.

http://www.spin-caps.com/index.php?p=1_2

The design is very simple and they work! Spin them on by hand or use the tool. Stop when you get resistance, and you're done.

Check em out. I just got another set for my new wheels. They have a discounted set for "blemished" ones, which I purchased since they are gonna be outside anyway. They had ever so slightly milling scratches, but that was it and also include a lifetime warranty.

HAHA, they are located in Apache Jct in Arizona! Just like in Bad Santa!
I wonder if they have pink stripes for Nicoles truck? Did you get yellow?

I just got plain chrome. I'm sure they can make them with a pink stripe. Pictures will follow when I clean my wheels again. Good grief this is getting exhausting!

I kinda like when they match the wheels. The strips are really narrow, but it's always the subtle touches that set things off.

I guess it's all about where you live. I live in a suburb of philly, we used to do it all the time. And nothing has changed, the kids around my new neighborhood do it too.

we don't have that issue around here either....the only reason i'd end up not having the caps on is if someone at a shop forgot to put them back on. that usually only happens with the regular black caps...hasn't happened with the ones i have now though
