Default new tires on the expedition

while walking out to the truck for my lunch break the other day i found this:

a large bubble in the tire's tread

called a few shops around, everyone wanted between $600 and $800 for a set of AT's... stopped by the place my parents have been getting tires/brakes done since i was a kid. for the next size up from stock (255/70r16) i went with 265/70/r16 Firestone Destination AT's. these are the tires i had put on my F150 before the lift and after 15,000 miles you couldnt tell there was any tread wear. pretty happy with the overall performance. paid $515 out the door which includes free rotation every 5000 miles for the life of the tire

it was on the rear driver side, couldnt really feel anything... like i posted, i had the same tires on the f150, put 15,000 miles on them and they still looked new and had hardly any tread wear
