I was pulling the rotted exhaust pipe off today and noticed this little tag screwed to the bed frame cross bar. I thought it interesting that Ford would go to the trouble to add an ID plate to the standard short bed ??? It is a good reference when validating a Nite.

I haven't done squat, other than minor maint stuff to my truck and it saddens me. I still want to get a plan together to add the MAF. I have all the crap sitting in the garage and have read enough info on the web to make the change. I feel I need to pull the cam and convert to a roller set up. I have been doing some fact checking on my block to determine if it's roller compatible. Stamping F1SE seems to reassure me that it is s "tall lifter boss" block so now that I have a little more time and money i'm motivated to prep for the work. I believe the goal is to get 300+ HP out of the stock EEC and be happy with that.

Not much has changed with the Ole' Girl, I bought a horseshit stipe kit from Arizona graphics=SUCKs . Not as good as original so I threw it away. Contemplating have a repro made to same size but a modern scheme. The old style can prob never be accurately reproduced.
