Default Engine paint

Some thunder engines were a gold color everything else was a true ford blue until ford switched to a gray color which was engines switched to fuel injection . And then to black on the triton series .
FOR THE FEW THAT HAS SEEN A ENGINE FORD MADE FOR A VERY SHORT TIME CALLED THE CAMMER IT WAS TRUE FORD BLUE AND A DODGE ORANGE . IT WAS MADE TO GO UP AGAINST THE HEMI AND BLEW ITS FREAKIN DOORS OFF HOWEVER NASCAR SAID NO SO THATS ALL I HAVE ON ENGINE COLORS .
Ps THE TRITON ENGINES HAVE A LOT OF THE CAMMERS TECHNOLOGY . IN MY LIFE TIME I HAVE SEEN 2

I have a 95 F-150 and when I pulled my engine, it looked like it was just bare cast. It may have been painted gray but I seriously doubt it. I ended up painting the block with a high-temp Duplicolor Ford red... yes, it's called Ford red! (kind of on the orange side of things!)

Your engine is beautiful. Is it all smog delete?

that looks like a 5000 dollar paint job

AND YES THAT ENGINE NEW WAS GRAY I THINK THEY USED CHEVY PAINT

i know my old 302 was painted or should i say coated with a healthy coating of earth toned tar aka mud and various leaking fluids but under that was just bare iron... my 351 was painted gray when i pulled it from the donor truck so i cleaned it and added another coat or 2 of gray
