Question 1977 ford f100 5.8 v8

I recently acquired this truck. It has 74,000 miles on it and its basically rust free. My problem is i cant find any parts for this specific motor. I want to tear it apart and rebuild it with high quality parts for higher performance but i cant find parts to rebuild it normally, let alone performance parts. With the chevy 5.3 i could find parts everywhere but not this specific year motor. anyone have any suggestions?

Ypu'll get better help once the admin moves this to the appropriate forum. But,.....assuming it's a Windsor motor, you should have no trouble finding power/speed parts from 77 on. Summit, Jegs, JC Whitney, ETC. and MANY others all carry stuff for this motor. A Cleveland motor will be a little harder to shop for I believe. If you're unsure of which you have,...the easiest way to tell is by the intake manifold. If the upper radiator hose is attached to the intake, it's a Windsor. If not, it's a Cleveland.
