Default early 1970s Ford F100 4 x 4 restoration

I would so love to talk to a knowledgeable Ford Guru or just an Enthusiast that has the knowledge I seek. instead so far, all I get is the mechanics assistant on this website and is not helping me at all. I have a couple questions. steering and front axle related if anyone can help me please respond
