Default missing hoses

1994 Ford Ranger 6 cylinder. Just inherited the trunk after a week of very short trips I noticed engine starting to stall. Took foot off gas and it did. Looking under the hood I see what maybe vacuum hose outlets? Took picture to AutoZone said we don't have schematic of vacuum hoses. Went home and capped them off. Engine ran fine until I pulled a cap off and then it stalled. I cannot find the ends or loose hoses.
Appreciate any help.
