Default 2009-2012 Ford F150 Flareside Lighting Info

The whole point of my post is only intended to share some unknown and very interesting information.

To start out ~ Ford's model range for 2004 to 2008 is not the same as Ford's model range 2009 to 2012.

2004 Ford F150 rear lighting is installed on some 2009 Ford F150's trucks even though both are different model year run types.

Identifying that 2004 parts were positively used on a new 2009 was never identified before. This was never posted anywhere else that I could find despite using many web search engines and web spiders.

It took a few months to sift through all the crawlers. And it's not noted on any other forum that I have searched on.

The information is only here on FTC!

Old mechs like us learned long ago that most parts could be entirely different across model years and we have to becareful when we order parts. Someone just learning about these things can easily make a simple mistake. FTC always trys to make those times less painful. We try to ensure that the info they need is just a click away. A job is done right the first time is a job done the right way.

The really weird part of this is - Ford and many truck parts magazines and web sites do not associate the term "Step Side" in parts magazines for the Ford 2009 F-150 Pickup Trucks. They only use the moniker's Style-Side and Flare-Side for 2009 and later.
