lone wolf i hear you.I got a letter from him on my birthday, great present!Rusty said that they arrived at 11:30 PM on Tuesday and got up at 4:00 AM for MEPS didn't get to sleep 9:30 PM.Says that all they have done is stand around and wait. They finished processing Friday not shipping out till 8/12 and chows not bad. That is a short summary of my 3 page letter. The letter had a Macon post mark so i guess hes at Robbins AFB.Thanks for asking I appreciate that, your alright for a Georgia boy!

I got another letter today, same story still waiting.Post mark still Macon GA. Is it typical for Army recruits to be housed at an air force base?Unless there is an Army post that I don't know about he must be at Robbins

there are a couple of Reserve Detatchments in Macon; it could be that he's at a processing center and will get his orders from there.
maybe some of our current Servicemen can shed some light on the Army & Air Force relationships.
the only thing I remember being connected was the Army & Air Force Exchange Service (AAFES, a store)

when you get to Macon go to a recruting center and ask; but dont get your hopes up as you may not be allowed where he is at "OFF LIMITS"
