Default Custom Carrier

I was driving to work yesterday, and I heard this hummmnummnummnummnummm sound. I babied the pedal all the way to work so I wouldnt hear any other scary noises, and would make it home. actually sounded like a badly cupped and toe'd out tire.

I now present to you the Klitch edition Ford 8.8 LS carrier.

Features : easy access to spider gears.

Brought to you by, Eaton, the OEM lightning blower, and Darrin Burch of BC-Automotive transmissions.

built and blueprinted Lightning powerplant with p&p heads, race built 4r70w by Darrin @ BC-Automotive
1-Ton swap Dyno 436/475
Transmission saga. avoid www.Engineworldusa.com, junk import motors.

How much for the LS?

This is my exact fear with my TRAC LOCK unit. I know it can handle 4.10 but I am going 4.56 and this is exactly what I think will happen with the engine mods and 4.56 gear set.

I plan on it being a trophy, like the genuine gear pinion that sheared teeth off it, put them in the shop when i build it.

Webby, I shot for 500fwhp when u was building the truck. as long as your not doing burnouts through third gear, it might handle it. that LS was a traded item. I gave my brother my full locker in return for that from his ranger, and the difference made payment for the 85 bronco 2.

Beeeeeeeeeeeeautiful! Nothing like a spider failure to blow a rear apart! Gotta love it when a wheel slips and "poof" gets traction. Gets em EVERY time. You should see the aftermath of a 40,000# Rockwell or Eaton after they explode.

Lowriders are for guys who can't get it up!
