Arrow Gauge Opinions Needed

Hey guys,

I bought the triple pod A pillar cover from autometer for my 1995 F150. Now its time to fill it with gauges! So far I am going with a fuel pressure guage. I have two more pods open now so my next gauge would be an air pressure gauge (for my train horns when I get them) and the third gauge, well I just dont know. Maybe oil pressure?

What do you guys suggest would be a good combo to have. I am a go on the fuel pressure but I am open to suggestions on the other two. Thanks for any suggestions guys.

Might be helpful to let everyone know what gauges your main gauge cluster already has...

none. I think 95 was idiot gauges, "hey theres nothing going on here" lol

do you tow? if you do, look into the trans temp instead of onboard air.

oil press, fuel press and trans temp all rate higher on my A-pod list than onboard air. If its going to be put in my face, it better be vital statistics.

Trans temp and Oil Pressure. Vital readings to the condition of the motor/trans.

like Klitch said.....no need to have that air pressure for the horns in your face. That could be mounted down low on the center section of the dash....

No towing for me Klitch though trans temp is on the list just incase. Red, it doesnt matter whats in my dash, I want to hear ideas here. Obviously no speedo or tach for the pillar cover.

The gauges I want apparently are special order. Summit doesnt carry Cyberdyne gauges that are red with silver bezel. They as well as jegs only carry blue and silver or red and black. So it will be custom order.

Here is what I photoshopped so you can see what I want:

I got my LED gauges from a vendor "egauges". I think if you search you'll find him on top, be worth it if you want to consider autometer.

Ya know, in hindsight of my previous statement, you could also do coolant temp, thats good to know in the summer. especially if you have e-fans and a "emergency" fan mode.

were you gonna do some moderate/heavy engine mods? widebands are nice to watch your burn, but not 100% necessary for all builds.

who said anything about the speedo or tach being in the pillar?

what if your truck already has an oil pressure gauge in the main cluster? it's not uncommon that one would be there. I know my 84 F250 had it. I'm sure it continued into 1995...

I just didn't want to see someone post and then you post saying it already has one in your main cluster. Start off knowing what you do have to figure out what could be added to the pillar.

I dont know for sure cause I was pretty young when my dad had the 93 f150 but I thought it was an idiot gauge too like my 97's. Its absolutely worthless imo, I dont need to know when it says 0# pressure, I'd figure that out with the racket.

idiot gauge or not, it's there. If he'd want to double up on an existing gauge...fine.
