Default add'l detail pics here

Any idea how much you think would be a fair price? We don't yet know enough about the truck to price it-- that's why I'm asking your help in telling me about it. This truck was originally purchased for an ex-employee (he picked it out), and then he moved out of state, stopped making payments; we repo'd it, learned he did heavy customizations, and have no idea how to price the customizations-- if it helps the price or hurts it. We can't even sell it because he filed for ch13 bankruptcy after we repo'd it.

Anyhow, here are pics on the suspension, tailpipe, speaker, and tires. Don't hesitate to ask more questions. Thanks again for all your help.

By the way, there are more pics on the link below than here on the forum, since the forum limits you to 5 pics at a time.

Mods on a vehicle are funny, they cost a fortune to do, they make the truck look nice, but when you sell the truck, especially to a dealer, they always try to low-ball you because it is modified. Then after they rip you off, they turn around and sell it as a highly modified truck!

I will have to look into this more to see exactly what its worth. Can you get me names and model numbers of anything you can, from the rims, to the speakers and everything in between!

You may want to keep it, it is a great work truck.

Basically, you are looking at a value of around 13 to 15 k. Will be a tough sale though, no one has money. But you never know, it may just go 1-2-3!

Looks to be an XLT model. Have you contacted the dealer that you purchased the truck from? They might still have records of that truck and confirm the model at least.

Also, since you're selling the truck. It would go a long way to do a decent cleaning....I looked through all your pictures and I have to say, just the fact it's pretty dirty would turn me off a little. I like to purchase used vehicles that appear like they've been maintained. I know you or your boyfriend didn't make the mess....but certainly do at least a quick cleaning.

Worked in the truck wholesale industry (Canada) for years and the best way to sell a truck is make it look front line ready. If somethings is broken or looks worn out, fix it, then get it detailed so it shines.

Thanks for all the feedback so far.
Believe it or not, we took those pics after having the truck detailed for $200! They actually had to buff the paint on the exterior, it was so badly scratched from hunting expeditions(?), not to mention all the dog mess.

Will try to get model numbers of upgrades, but since we don't have the papers for any of them, I'd be looking for markings on all the pieces.

Will try to contact the original sales dealer, too, for more info (purchased in 2006-- so it may be a long shot).

I would get all the badges changed back to F250 also.

Agreed....get those badges changed back...after you confirm the model that is. And get your money back from that detailer or have them do it again....i didn't see the before...but for $200...it should look a lot better than that!
