1995 f-150 Dana 44 SAS - Solid Axle Swap
Hey guys i recently finished my Dana 44 SAS on my 95 f150 and thought i would post some pics and make a list of what parts were used.
I first rebuilt the whole D44 and slowly started my parts collection over a two year period.

I used:
78 coil buckets
95 f250 shock mounts
Rancho rs9000 12" shocks
6" deaver superflex coil springs
Sky Manufacturing shackle flip
4" lift block
RA drop brackets with 78 mounts
Extended braided brake line F&R
Factory 88 bronk pitman arm
2.5" tuff country f-350 track bar bracket
Stock 78 center-link
95 f-350 drag-link
35/12.50 Dunlop Mud Rovers
American racing black steelies
All Grade 8 1/2" hardware
factory 88 bronk pitman arm

Everything came out great!! The entire install went flawlessly with only two of us working on the truck. The Solid Axle Swap from start to finish took about two solid days and around $2000.

Thanks for the comments, FOTM would be sweet ive been on another forum for 4 years and have never even been mentioned. It looks a little different now, i painted the steering and diff cover black, i also moved the power steering cooler to in front of the radiator and just got my reamer to do a TRE flip. I still need to make a new tranny crossmember so my front driveshaft will fit but im not to worried about that yet.

P.S. ill add more pictures when i find them on my computer

Well, sorry that the other forum didn't take notice of your sweet ride! 4 years huh? Feel free to spend more time here, and let your friends know about us!
I would love to have a NJ crew!

Definitely a sharp looking truck, I love that body style in crew cab. Looks clean!
2 years?! Man I slammed through my whole process of gathering and installing in like 2 months?
I see one thing you may want to address, maybe a hi-steer knuckle to get yourself a more straight angle off your pitman arm, less potential bump steer. Just a thought.

Thanks your truck is sweet to, i usually dont like that body style but with 1 tons its a different story. Im actually getting ready to address that problem by dong a TRE flip to help correct the angles, but so far i haven't noticed any bumpsteer the way it is now.
