Good going! Would love to see pics! Im getting my truck custom chipped and tuned next week, should really wake it up with all my mods. Also bought another forum, been busy with that. New site launch should be tomorrow!

Give us a pic of the yokes you're working with.

Here is my reason I'm saying this, I made this companion flange adapter from scratch, but I cannot remember what yokes were used on the front driveshaft before 97 since I didnt get to crawl under my dads 93.

Yea the track-bar mount i used was for a f-350, so the bolt hole was larger than the bolt that fits into the bushing sleeve for the 78/79 track-bar i used. This caused the axle to shift slightly when turning left or right, and caused my popping sound which i originally associated with the drag-link rotating. long story short we just welded the washers to the front and back of the track-bar bracket and VOILA...no more noises!!

Yup, I've had a suspicion for a while, but haven't been sure, I keep double checking how tight all the balljoints are. yet I have a consistent popping noise when turning, or whenever theres a bump I run over in the driveway, sometimes turning on asphalt alone will do it.
