I would be going up in and injector size though, the inline six uses a smaller injector.
Hmmmmm 19# injector and bigger throttle body anyone?

That is a good question. I wonder if one from a 302 would fit and work?

They do, but it takes some work with the throttle cable and other connections since it sits different on the 302/351.
The inline six has it horizontal while the 302/351 is vertical. It can be done though.

Considered it, not sure how it would run being that I still have a speed density set up though.
I'm goin to the cheap junkyard next week with my cousin and a friend, If I find the stuff and have extra cash I'll pick up a throttle body n see if I can make it work.
Just thought about it and the 460 throttle body lays the same was as the inline six one. Time to google what size it is.

Cool. Have you checked around FordSix for info on that stuff?

I've been on that site, but a lot of it was old 240 mustang stuff.
The 460 TB will bolt on, but the AIC is on the 460 intake, and the 4.9 has it on the TB.
Doin some internet digging, if I find anything interesting you guys can expect a thread.

Make sure you add another 20-30 for a rebuild kit.

I planned on it.
Did some reading last night and I guess all the 460 throttle body would do is stuff more air in at less throttle so it will pull on the top end better when wide open, but get negative miles per gallon. Same with the injectors.
I will however try it before I swap engines, just for the heck of it.
