Political Promises On Wheels
After I saw the picture below it reminded me of this joke:
A politician goes to an Indian reservation on a political campaign. He started his speech by making promises.
Politician: I promise to let you build more casinos.
A couple of Indians looked at each other and one said to the other "ora ora" the other agreed and responded back "ora ora". One of a sudden everybody started stumping their feet as they raising their hands and shouted out loud "ora ora, ora ora."
The politician didn't know what Ora meant but seeing how they all excitedly chanted "ora ora" he assumed it was some form of approval, so he continued:
Politician: I promise you'll have to pay no taxes
Indians: Ora Ora, Ora Ora
Politician: I promise you will all have 100% ownership of these casinos.
Indians: Ora Ora, Ora Ora
Politician: I promise to shut down all of your competitors
Indians: Ora Ora, Ora Ora
Feeling that he had done well with his speech the politician decided to tour the village. As he approached a cattle ranch he asked the chief if he could pet one of the bulls. The Chief agreed and said "Step right in, just be careful not to step on the bull's Ora.
