Default New Process 205 Transfer Case in 1980+ 4x4

Anybody here bolted a Gear Driven New Process 205 Transfer case into a 1980+ Bronco or F150/250 4x4? I want to pull the chain driven New Process 208 and run a 205, just cause it's gear driven and less prone to alot of wear whereas the Np208 has a chain in it that stretches over time and will need rebuilt more often.

I've seen a few guys running them in the 1980+ 4x4's and IIRC was told that the 205 is a little narrower than the 208, but without one where I can measure I can't tell.
