Default divorced or married transfer case?

ive got most of my sas stuff on order, now im thinking transfer cases...

should i go with a divorced transfer case or married transfer case?
what are some advantages and disadvantages of either?
what transfer cases would you recommend and stay away from?

both budget and high dollar options

Whats your application? I personally like divorced for the sake of making things a little more sane to build, but those rear drive lines dont always agree.

1-Ton swap Dyno 436/475
Transmission saga. avoid www.Engineworldusa.com, junk import motors.

Married in almost all cases is better. You don't have to worry about an extra driveshaft to break. And with a divorced case you will have to make a diaper to keep the case perfectly still. The only time I would recommend a divorced case is if your running a lot of lift or are running dual case with the rear case being a 2.5 ton military case.
