Talking Transmission filling Transfer case

Hello, I'm a new member, thought I might share a repair with you all: Took my truck in for service was informed my transfer case was 3 quarts over full. Well it turns out transmission fluid runs down shaft and if transfer case seal is worn it goes into transfer case, of course transmission fluid was low and needed topping off. Not a big job, any back yard mechanic can do this.
