Well if you haul any kinda weight and live here, we use the tried and true and easy to use good ol 18sp

Ive driven a 15sp before, it was the 1st truck I ever hauled logs with. Old school, was in an old Pete. Couldn't wait to get into the newer T-800 Kenworth with the Eaton/Fuller 18sp.

Suicide shifter. I started driving a R model Mack with one of those boogers!

We have 2 heavy haul trucks. Last one I built has 72 forward gears and 32 reverse. Capable of hauling over 100k lbs. It has a 18spd with and auxillary drive trans behind that with 42k lbs rears driven by 3.90 Rockwell rears. The power plant is a 525 hp Cummins with a Banks system pushing it to a max of 750 hp when turned up. The tractor is a tandem with a tag axle and the trailer has a total of 8 axles under it with 3 detatch sections. Heck of a set up. We use it to mainly haul equipment

Lowriders are for guys who can't get it up!
Sissy's drive 2wd's! (you know who you are!!)
