mark your calendar and meet me at the house and we can ride up (125 mi. North of the house, brings some friends; I stay Friday & Saturday night) you don't have to be a Shovel owner, just an invite from a member (me)

Angelina and i would love to go but we have our SFJMC East Coast rally in Franklin,Tn that same weekend
I reckon wires got crossed, you seen 28th and must have thought it was in May
I went, it was cold at night and rain on Saturday & Sunday
I'm getting to old to sleep on the ground

the old Shovelhead ran fine

nice wide Glide
looks Great
I especially like the seat

just a thought as most gals I know are short legged:
you may want to think about some heat shields on the exhaust to keep her from burning her legs when stopped. I think they look better than wraps

I went to Huntsville, AL. yesterday and picked up two Bikes that have been sitting for over 7 years.
and they show it, full of red clay dust, I just shook my head, beautiful machines left sitting uncovered in a landscaping warehouse

1978 FXE Superglide - Shovelhead
1999 FXDWG Wideglide - Twin Cam

I'll post photos of the before and after wash later today
got home a little before midnight and I'm waiting for the sun to come up so I can unload them
kinda like Christmas, woke up early waiting to play with my new toys

here's a photo from the seller of how the '78 looked in 2008
