ignition problems.
I have a 1973 ford f-100 ranger v8 390, which has been having electrical problems lately. I found that the distributor cap was cracked, which I replaced, I also replaced the coil. It proceeded to fire right up then after a couple seconds dies.If there is anybody who has any ideas as to what the problem may be...besides a possible simple electrical short somewhere, I'd appreciate it!
Ive also been thinking about putting either an msd/mallory distributor and ignition box on it, does anyone have any ideas as to which brand is the best bang for my buck? Thanks! Mike

on the distributor and ignition box MSD has always been my choice
but unless your building for performance; a stock set up would be fine and save you some money
