Default 1951 f1 bell housings.

My name is grunt. Thanks for welcoming me to the forum.
My question. I have a 1951 F1 with a 226 six cylinder engine and 3 speed column shift transmission. I have a 1950 239 flat motor I will install in the truck. Will the 226 bellhousing bolt to the 239 block or will I need to get a v8 bell housing?

Please ask your tech questions in the appropriate forum - which would be the 1948-1983 F-100 forum, we group the F1's in with the F-100's. Thanks!

To answer your question, I believe you will have to get a V8 bellhousing and transmission:
