Unhappy P1747 code / epc solenoid / pcm / help!!

P1747: Electronic Pressure Control Solenoid - Short circuit

I have 98 Ford Expedition 2WD 4.6L Engine. Had it checked and received that code. Check engine light, OD flashing, and very sluggish acceleration(up until it hits around 2k RPM and picks up slightly). An employee at Autozone who told me the code recomended to change out transmission fluid and filter. I did just that, check engine light was still on but after driving around for about 5-7 minutes it drove a little better, still a little sluggish but better till I turned the car off then back on again. Then it went back to the original problem of being sluggish. I have called around to the tranny shops explained about my code and most of them told me that I would have to replace the solenoid block. I have searched the internet on some forums that have had the same issues as me, 1747 code, and most were recommending changing out the EPC solenoid / checking the wiring on the EPC solenoid etc. OKAY! So heres the question-Where exactly is the EPC solenoid and its wiring located? Also, if anyone here has had the same P1747 code issue, what exactly did you do to remedy the issue? I would appreciate any help or information you can provide. Vehicle is a primary transportation for the momma and baby and would like to fix it soon! I have access to a auto craft shop since i am in the military so special tools shouldnt be a problem. Again any help is welcome and appreciated!!!!!

["Where exactly is the EPC solenoid and its wiring located"]

You've got to drop the trans pan and remove the valve body
its on the left side middle

if your craft shop on Post is like the one I used back when there was'nt any electronic anything
most guys there are pretty knowledgeable and willing to help
ask some for help about your question
