Default 1955 for stepside short bed

I am new here but I have a 1955 ford step side short bed truck (I believe this to be an original all numbers matching truck) This is a classic 1955 ford short bed, step-side pickup. It is super clean and almost totally rust free except for one spot on the back lower driver's side section of the cab. It runs and drives but it needs an ignition key and a battery. We bypassed the ignition and borrowed a battery and it started right up and drove great. I believe this truck to be an all numbers matching original. It has the four speed manual tranny and the original strait six engine. It needs body work for dents and dings and paint and also a bench seat. It is a very good start to a great project that is arguably the most desired classic truck ever. A really nice one sold a couple months ago at auction for $72,000 The bed is off and being stored in my shop. call or text me at 707-954-0893 with any questions you may have. Thanks

there is a for sale section

this is the intro section not the sale section

sounds like $3000 is way high for what you got
or did you mean $300

Several F-1's and plenty of F-100's here in North GA on the road running
could be your area don't have many trucks

a super clean excellent '55 F-100 may bring between 5 - $8,000

that auction price must have been a Barrett / Jackson
Good Luck with the sale
