How high? Is there a port or just a hole? You can always plug that up. You would need a huge port for a 10" sub and the sub would be huge too.

i have heard that 10s are generally better for rock/metal and country, You get tighter bass with 10s. a sealed box also makes the bass tighter, while a ported box makes it go boom.

Addy is correct.

You're box is pretty big, and that cutout is for a 12" The holes are usually an inch to a half in smaller that the size of the sub. Your internatl space is 2.435, or 2.5 cu ft. This is big!

You will need quite a sub that can work with that box and port. Not knowing what the port is tuned at, will be hard. You can throw a sub in there for the box dimensions, but if it is not set for that port, it will sound like crap.

I can do a search for you for a sub that will fit that, and you can always remove the port, get a 3" pvd plug from home depot and use liquid nails to keep it, and it's done.

The sub will need quite a bit of power, but I am positive I can find something that will work. If you want me to look, just lemme know, I have NOTHING to do tonight. :)
