Anyone else notice they said that the Fontana race was sold out yet there was a huge number of seats empty? No way all of the people from those seats were getting beer, food, etc at the same time...

I noticed that about Fontana. But id have to say, the new chase format has proven my doubts to be unfounded. I like the racing so far this year. It really seems the drivers are wanting the W a shitload more. More chances being taken. No more of, "yeah, 5th will keep us in points." type attitude. Now to keep Goodyear on the ball, the tires at Fontana were crap!!!

Gotta remember though, NASCAR allowed more Camber in the setups, the Setups were right there with the cause of the screwed up tires.

Dale Earnhardt Jr. posted his third win of the season, making it a clean sweep at Pocono on Sunday. If you are anything like me, you love reading statistics. Here's one that blew me away: Dale Jr. has now won three races in his last 21 starts with, naturally, all of those 21 starts coming in 2014. Prior to 2014, he had only won three races in 304 starts. Isn't that simply mind-boggling?
