Default 76 F250 Highboy bed compatibility

Hey guys. I've been searching for the best place to ask this, and I apologize if this isn't the place. If it isn't, please point me to the right forum. I am restoring a 76 Highboy (yes, it's a real Highboy with the divorced transfer case, narrow frame rails, etc). The big issue I'm currently dealing with is finding a compatible bed. The narrow frame rails threw me off at first, but I was told I can use any long bed, and drill narrower holes if needed. I found a potential donor truck with a decent bed and just want to make sure it'll fit. The donor truck that has the new bed is a 1975 F250 (but is 2WD), and measures about 100" from the back of the cab to the front edge of the rear bumper. This is the same measurement as the Highboy. But will everything else line up, and I'll only have to drill narrower holes?

Thanks for your help!

Would it be cheaper to just order the proper bed from LMC?
