Default 1995 ford f150 4.9 fuel problem

When i first start the truck it will idle fine and drive fine for about a minute. Then it starts reving up and trying to die. It will die a couple times but once it warms up it will idle correctly but if i give it to much throttle it will bog down. It wont go over 50 and if i try to push it over 50 it will sputter. It does it on both tanks. Trying to figure what to start with. I have tried adding seafoam and i cleaned the throttle body real good. Any suggestions help! Thanks

replace the fuel filter it's cheap and also a good place to start, I always cut mine open to see whats inside
but
"Then it starts reving up and trying to die" - I'll have to think about this
there may be an electrical part issue
or
the carb may have some crud in it

I was thinking fuel pump but I dont think it would cause the intermittent rev and bog down
wait and see what others say

Ok man thanks. Im gunna replace filter and i have removed and cleaned the carb. Im probably gunna replace the fuel regulator. I dont think its the pumps either cause it does it on both tanks and i hear the pumps kick on unless it faulted and is dumping to much fuel to it.

Carb on a 95???? That should be EFI.

Have you tried cleaning the IAC (idle air control)?

Are you sure you don't have a clogged cat?

Fuel filter first. Then fuel pressure. IAC wouldn't cause an issue off idle.
Pull codes as well. Post back with your findings and we will help you along.

it has something to do with turning the ignition off & on and counting the flashes

I did a site Search and could not find it
I'm sure someone will come on and direct you in the right direction
