Default Yet another question

In the paper work that came with the truck I noticed a shop removed the front tank and flushed it along with new fuel pump and filter due to sitting for an extended period of time. I was told the rear tank does not work so I have not flipped the switch. I'm sure the rear tank is in the same condition as the front was and I'd like to make it functional again. I'll be dropping the tank probably next weekend. Anything out of the ordinary I need to be aware of before proceeding?

be careful with:
any flexible/rubber connection
not sure on double tanks or your year, but removing the bed makes easy work of doing the job
bed removal is simple there should be 4 or 6 bolts in the bed to loosen, be sure to unplug any wiring, then 2 people can easily lift it off

It will "almost" come out the top but no go. I had the bed off of my 94 and thought it would be a piece of cake to just lift it out. No. Still had to come out the bottom. Was easy to do all of the disconnects but not worth bed removal just for that.
