here are the pictures of the transfer case re-installed and the slip yoke on the new drive shaft. last 1 is the beast right after the test run. works like a champ. no vibration through the drive shaft, and no leaks around the extension housing. another fine job completed under budget by union labor!!

Also as an update, used the beast to haul a enclosed trailer load with furniture about 60 miles today. Ran like a champ after recent work. I love success.

so, I haven't put any effort into hunting any air ride seats yet. but I have a a topic of concern. I changed the plugs on this thing a WHILE back, and noticed some burnt oil on a few of them. the engine has been doing some slight, quiet, popping. I figure it's the plugs sparking when there is oil on it. best I can guess is the valve stem seals. just wondering if anyone has experienced anything similar.

had something new happen this weekend. changed the oil in the beast yesterday. while attempting to check the oil level after filling,....the damn dip stick tube broke just above the manifold. upon further investigation, the support for it had broken at the tube. i guess that was letting it vibrate around until it snapped. found 1 on rock auto for $10. got the hole plugged for now til the new one shows up. might end up welding another support to the new one to strengthen it up.
