Exclamation Need help!!! 1980 F-100 302 motor perches.

I'm in dire need of help, my grandfather is rebuilding a 1980 f100 and is swapping the v6 for the 302 and is at a stand still because we can not find the proper engine mounting brackets or "perches". If anyone can help in finding useful information on a website or phone number to call to locate a set new or used I would be very grateful. Please feel free to post or you can send me a private e-mail with any information, thank you. blind_taxidriver@yahoo.com

The only F-series trucks that had a V-6 around that time were in 82 and 83. The 1980 F-100 had a 300 I-6, a 302 V-8, and a 460 V-8.

Rockauto.com lists "motor mounts" for the 302 in a 1980 F-100 if that's what you need.

LMC has them for about $13 bucks a piece. Rock auto might be cheaper though.

it's customary to do an intro and post a pic of your truck before asking ?'s in the tech section

he ain't signed back in since he joined

I've noticed it's usually the ones that don't do an intro; that ask questions and never return
