Default C Series owner bought a 4x4

Hey folks, just an ordinary Joe out here near the West Coast of Canada. Thanks for letting me into the forum.
I own a 1985 C8000 111 inch wheelbase 2WD Turbo Diesel Tractor. It was built for Coca Cola and comes with a CAT 3208T 225 HP V8 spec. to 200 HP & governed at 2250 rpm for Coca Cola. It's built to cruise no faster than 55 MPH. Mileage is good bob-tailing at 15 mpg consistently. It sits at the moment due to lack of funds but as you all know, rust never sleeps.
Trying to find replacement body panels like the rear quarters of the cab where they meet the fender, and a drivers step and floorboards too. It's not a big market like the F-Series trucks, most people have never heard of C-Series.
Now I'm driving and restoring a 1992 F250 4x4 and learning about the Ford computer system. I've bought myself a OBD1 code checker and I'm diving into this now. At the moment I'm replacing the original EGR valve. I'm on the learning curve. I may get that CEC light back out again yet.
