Jake, I was sending my pieces to a company in Alaska for coatings, your work is much much better. Do you just do it for yourself or do you do side work?

I would love to have my slide and stock of my shotgun done maybe in digital desert camo.

nice work Jake
is that the coating that you lay a pattern on some kinda liquid then emerse the part

a friend had his Win. 101 done and it looked just like my Benneli Turkey gun's factory camo finish

I have started doing it on my free weekends (few and far between) so it takes me awhile to get to some of them. I started taking on work for this about 6-8 months ago and I think I started a brushfire.

So...in short.... I do it on the side.

Thanks for all the nice comments fellas'.

Some of it is freehand, some is patterns I cut or use stuff that make a cool design. Depending on the size and pattern it is HVLP gun and/or airbrush.

Thanks fellas. Looks like there will be a few guys from here that will soon be able to post their personal opinions on the work.

It was a custom rifle I built on request, the whole "shooting match" Rifle, mags, bag, and the "thicket" pattern Duracoat.
The build was:
Noveske lower and Geisielle trigger pack, M4 profile upper and barrel, simple 6 pos stock, iron sight back ups and a red dot sight.

I am now building a "big brother" for him in .308. If he has me coat that one in the same pattern, I'll post a pic.
