No Mustang comes to mind nor does a Shelby GT350 or GT500, I think you'd wanna start w/ which one's came w/ cowl hoods: The Boss, Mach 1's, The 350's and 500's had a Ram Air setup just look at "Eleanor" and that would prove that. IDK if a Cali Special came w/ one, but I've NEVER heard of a Mustang or Shelby having turn signals incorpted into the hood.

I've never heard a mention of turn signal in the hood on any Mustangs either. Are you thinking of the 71-73 style Mustang with the Ram Air hood like this?

I'm a member of a Mustang forum so I could ask there for you and see what anyone has to say on it.

Found this http://www.cjponyparts.com/TURN+SIGN...-1968/p/TSHCK/

And it seems the lights were available as an option to the S coded Mustangs from 1967-69

Exterior Décor Group
-Hood Louvres with Signal Lites
-Bright Wheel Lip Moldings
-Bright Rear Deck Moldings on HTs & Converts (Std on FBs)
-Pop-Open Fuel Cap (GT's had GT emblem)
-Rocker Panel Moldings (1969)
-Base 5-spoke Wheel Covers (1969)

it was a single scoop and the turn signals were in the back of the scoop and i think it was from a older body style

Looks like Hawaiian was trying to point you in the direction of parts stores. You might check out Mustangs Unlimited, Year One, and Dallas Mustang. I know that I've seen them in one of those catalogs when looking for parts for my car.
