Junkyards were so much cheaper in Phoenix, and there were so many more. I woulda got all this today for about $20, if that. Here's some pics of the tool guard thing....

Oh yeah I have that. I set tools on it all the time hahah
I have actually shut a 3/8's ratchet with socket sticking up in that little trough and thought I was in for hell, it nuzzled in there and didn't move or bind anything up.

Anyone know a good way to clean up diamond plate without having to spend $10 on cleaner? I've read online that you can soak in in coke for 5 min, the scrub it with a brush. I did it on a small section and it works okay, maybe I need to do it again or something.

ya gotta use a rag on a buffer or a variable speed grinder and keep it wet with Coke
the key is THE ELBOW GREASE which the buffer does

Just got finished, 2 "coats" of the coke treatment, didn't do too bad actually. I'll be doing more once they're on the truck, but it's definately not a bad start at all.

Just got the rails put on, I'm torn on the look, but I think it'll grow on me. Tomrrow I put on the relay box.

I got them for 2 reasons, the only dents on the truck are on the rails (from a hail storm back in Phoenix), and my dog. She's already taken advantage of them lol. Here's my pup:
