my dad changed the fuel pump on my front tank back in early 07, he said it was pretty easy, i just used a cheap advance autoparts pump. still works good...

If it's a rear mount tank, just pull the bed. Being that ou have fiberglass besides it shouldn't take much to get it off at all, especially if you have a strong friend or engine hoist.
If it's a side mount (don't think that's possible?) then you can wiggle it out without removing the tank or bed.

Soak the bolts / nuts for the bed just in case you choose that route after looking at dropping the tank (full)

Aw man, that sucks ass! I didn't realize it was your fuel pump! I wonder if that is what was causing that CEL to go on and off like crazy. You didn't say that the CEL light kept coming on when idling around, and when you got in it, the CEL would go off (most of the time). I know you said it was going on and off like crazy though.

lol, no worries DD!

Fuel pump and extra goodies arrive at my office tomorrow! Will most likely get to it Sat morning. I think I may just remove the bed and keep it moving from there. I just don't want to mess up any bolts... it's not like I have any replacements!
