Default Bought a parts truck.

Buying my 94, i knew it wasn't perfect. Both front fenders have dents, the bed has been hit and poorly repaired. It sits at an angle from pass side to driver and pushed out towards the passenger side. The front bumper is bent on thr drivers side and the rear bumper is tweaked as well. I really had no plans of really doing anything to it untill i found this.

It's a 96 XL 302 4r70w 2wd with 88k. The truck got high centered in a snow drift and it created a fuel leak and burned the cab down. At least thats the story i got. The interior consists of a giant melted pool of plastic and a seat frame. Some of the engine accessories were melted but i think overall its salvageable along with the trans.

All im going to use are the pieces i mentioned erlier. I might save some thing like the headlights, grill, and whatever might have been spared by the fire. Hell i only gave $275 for the thing. Im pretty satisfied.

Naw thats quite the undertaking for someone like me. Id much rather cobble what i can, use what i need, help out another F150 owner if i can with whatever they might need, and scrap the carcass for probably what i have in it.

Hmm, I need some parts, lol. Right now, it's pretty much just a distributor gear, but a MAF conversion in the future would sure be fun, lol. Do you wanna sell that gear?

Thats why I need it, I'm converting from flat tappet to roller, and a 1996 truck would be roller.

I intended on leaving the engine as complete as possible so that i could go through it and use it someday. Same with the trans. I think its a perfect candidate for a build as soon as i get an idea of what i want/ will work with the minor tuning involved. But everything else im willing to part with. Like front suspension, grille, headlights, core support, fuel tanks, etc. As soon as i can find out what ratio the rear end is i may swap it into the 90 I6. If its the same I'll let it go too. I meant to look at the diff tag today when removing the bed but forgot. The door tag is probably of no help, ie gone.
