Some of these are counterbored to remove bad rifling, this one is fine with very prominent lands and grooves.

Took it out the other day shooting at canned fruit and vegetable's that were expired, at 30yds it was shooting to the right of the can, bench rested and everything, so beings this is a WWII Rifle and not high dollar or valued, if we have sunshine here tomorrow I'll be taking a punch and a hammer and tapping the front sight over a bit, with dad's help of course, I will hit a can with it!

Arrow Sight Adjustment

for those that are unsure

when changing/ adjusting your sights

the rear sight is moved in the direction you want the bullet impact to move
raising the rear sight moves the bullet impact up and lowering the rear sight moves the bullet impact down

some rifles/pistols do not have a windage adjustable (moves bullet impact left or right) rear sight
so the front sight will have to be moved
most are attached in a dovetail slot, and can be moved/drifted with a hammer and flat punch

when moving the front sight it moves the bullet impact opposit of the rear sight

moving the front sight to the left will move the bullet impact to the right and vice versa

hopefully this info may help someone
