The 2008 F150 shop manual shows for:
4.6L V8, valve is located directly behind the OIL fill cap.
5.4L V8, doesn't have a specific PCV (at least not in the shop manual). But it does have a PCV heater element that is located behind the Throttle Body on the driver side. The one that JSoko stated. Follow that hose to the front of the valve cover on the drivers side, and that should be the PCV. Just behind and below the VCT (Variable Cam Timing) solenoid.

Please note this is a picture with the motor out. It will not be this easy to see. It will be on passenger side of vehicle under plenum or upper intake.
