Wink My heaviest haul with half ton




Just another bad idea of mine. Got the truck for parts to fix my dump truck.

I need a crew cab diesel, or a mdt.

built and blueprinted Lightning powerplant with p&p heads, race built 4r70w by Darrin @ BC-Automotive
1-Ton swap Dyno 436/475
Transmission saga. avoid www.Engineworldusa.com, junk import motors.

Grossing nearly 20k? Dang, that's a lot. You have the axles and the power, but still not gas engine territory usually.
I wasn't aware the engine was back in one piece

Engine is up to 450hp / 500 ft lbs to wheels now

Trailer was pieced together from a chipper trailer frame and a ramp truck tail.

Trailer frame is 12 " beam. 5500#

I was scared for my trans.

Oh damn you've definitely got the power then, I'd be afraid for the trans like you said. How built is it?
What were the mpgs....?

5.2 mpg on the way back, Kept under 50.

Trans was 1800 stall and race clutches with hardened steel parts, billet intermediate stub shaft.
