Default Ignition cylinder lock

I have a 1990 Ranger with a worn out lock on the ignition cylinder and
I can’t figure out how to remove it. All the videos I find say to push a
pin in through a hole in the bottom of the steering column. My truck has
no such hole. I removed the plastic covers, and there is no hole anywhere
around the lock in the steering column. Anyone know how to remove it?

You have to pull the steering wheel.

If I read the article in that link correctly all it says to do is pull off
the steering wheel, then locate the pin and push it to release the
lock. I can see the back of the casing around the lock without
removing the steering wheel, there is nothing to push.
There is a removable end on top of the steering column held on
by three torx bolts, the elusive release pin must be behind it.

The pin is not visible unless the key is in the ON position. It's also not accessible until the wheel is pulled.

I found it with a more careful examination.
There is a small hole, angled back towards
the driver that a allows access to the pin.
The steering wheel does not need to come off
to see or push the pin, you just have to get
at the correct angle.
Thanks for responding.
