Default my 6.0L thread...

well, ive put almost 10,000 miles on the truck since i bought it back in june. after closely monitoring my scangauge, about halfway through my trip to texas and back my oil cooler started to clog up. a clogged oil cooler is the #1 reason for blown egr coolers.

anyways, i got new OEM oil cooler and o-ring kit on order, shipped 265 bucks, the stealership wants $480.

also on my parts order is the blue spring upgrade which raises the fuel pressure 10 psi to help with injector life and a little better throttle response. sinister disel coolant filter kit. HPOP screen. i will probably order an EGR delete kit on payday along with a bypass oil filter kit.

also on the list is ARP headstuds. and other components to do the headbolts/gaskets. i will have a shop tackle about half if not most of this...

as much as i like to do stuff myself, i just dont have the time because of the boat project and work. my deadline is to have the boat in the water by july 1st: opening day of scallop season...
