I don't have a super duty, just a dummy duty. Which did you install? How do you like it? Painfully easy?

The one I installed was on a Explorer sport years ago...actually easy. Just have not tried the 04, I think I'll have it professionally done though.

Looked like an inexpensive alternative to a full alarm system. Just wanted something quick for those chilly mornings.

Get it professionally installed also.

i had a ford remote system installed on my truck by my dealer....figured there was no way i was gonna play around with the electrical system i'd just let my dealer do it....that way if there was ever any issues with the remote start itself or something installation wise....it's all my dealers issue to deal with

Good to have under Ford warranty but..........the factory remote starter is probably one of the cheapest and most basic out there.

all i wanted it to do is start my truck.....nothing more. so the ford system was good enough for what i wanted...works fine
